Lake Victoria North Water Services Board is committed to ensuring provision of water and sanitation services within its area of jurisdiction in an environmentally friendly manner.

The Board shall conform to environmentally sound practices by adhering to the applicable legislations and guidelines, prevention of pollution, and continually improve its Environmental Management System (EMS).

The Board shall integrate environmentally friendly management practices in:
• Designing and development of water and sanitation facilities.
• Contracting and monitoring of water and sanitation services provision.
• Regular reviews of objectives, targets and programmes for continual improvement of its EMS.

The Board shall promote environmental awareness, participation and commitment to environmental management in all its operations.
