The Lessos Water Supply and Sanitation project was funded by the World Bank and the Government of Kenya under the Water and Sanitation Services Improvement Project (WaSSIP), and implemented by Lake Victoria North Water Services Board at a cost of Kshs200, 038,888.50. The project commenced on June 1st 2010 and was completed mid 2012.
Kapcherop Kapsowar Water Supply Project was implemented under the WaSSIP programme, through joint funding by the World Bank and the Government of Kenya, through the Ministry of Water and Irrigation.
Mbale Water Supply system in Vihiga County has undergone rehabilitation and expansion to increase supply of water. The project was financed through financial support from the Italian government through the Kenya Italy Debt for Development Program (KIDDP) at a cost of KSh60 million.
The water supply in Eldoret town and its environs has undergone major rehabilitation and expansion, courtesy of a development partnership between the Government of the Republic of Kenya through Lake Victoria North Water Services Board and the World Bank.
The Kapsabet Water Supply was co-financed by the governments of Kenya and Japan through Japanese International Corporation Agency (JICA) at a cost of Sh.1.5 billion.
Nzoia Cluster Phase II programme covering Kakamega, Busia, and Nambale was also co-financed by Government of Kenya and Federal Republic of Germany through KfW at a cost of Kshs. 3.2 billion Kenya Shillings.
